This new Story feature is in the testing mode as yet and as many as 55 world renowned brands and influencers that include Vogue, GQ, Kylie Jenner, and Gigi Hadid, etc. will be seen playing around with this new features for the next couple of weeks. Big organizations and sellers will now have the opportunity to self promote their products with Instagram. However, they might lack the same kind of engagement on their posts as the influencers often get on theirs. With this new Creative Mode Story feature on Instagram, users will now be able to tag various brands in their Instagram Stories. This feature will not only benefit those millions of Instagram users who advertise various products and brands for sale but also help those millions of Instagram users who frequently buy products via Instagram ads. This feature will provide users with the option to tap on the influencers Instagram Stories and buy products of their choice easily. This new feature will also show additional information to users about the said products such as the product price etc.
Another feature that Instagram is rolling out is the Donation Sticker for Instagram Stories. This new feature will allow users to as their followers to raise money for various nonprofit organizations. According to Instagram, 100% of the donation collection via Instagram Stories will go to the said organizations they money has been raised for. Users can track the donation – amount and the users who donated – right from their Instagram Story pan by swiping up on the screen. This new Donation Sticker feature for Instagram Stories is now available in the United States and will be rolled out across the world soon.
Additionally, Facebook is testing another new modification – not a feature tough but alteration – that will hide the count of the number of likes for the public. While this feature will be implemented successfully, users will not be able to see the number of likes on other users’ photos and videos. However, users who have posted that particular photo and video post will continue to be able to see the number of likes they have got on their posts. This new alteration will surely change the Instagram experience on a large scale. While many users may not find it cool, others might adapt themselves with this change quite easily.
